International Supply Chain Director - Retail - Expat Welcome
Job description
Our Client is a leading Multinational Retailer with a worldwide presence.
On its behalf we are looking for the International Supply Chain Director.
Responsabilities:
Direct overall supply chain operations organization
Define and implement the supply chain model and the planning & buying strategy across business units and countries
Identify synergies between the different business units to increase supply chain effectiveness across channels (stores/e-commerce)
Develop a strategic vision for new market and new channels
Oversee the organization's inventory, warehousing, distribution and transportation functions
Evaluate past performance data to forecast needs and production levels.
Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Ensure that issues regarding new/existing products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Lead and direct a team of around 30 people
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 15 years of experience in the Retail and/or FMCG/Personal Care, Lifestyle/Fashion market covering international roles are mandatory
Knowledge of Distribution Logistics
Budget & Forecast skills
Knowledge of contract management, negotiation and tendering
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to perform a variety of tasks
A wide degree of creativity and latitude and is expected
Fluent in English
