Corporate Brand & Media Manager - Consumer & Retail

Our Client is a leading Multinational Consumer Company with a worldwide presence.

On its behalf, we are looking for the Corporate Brand & Media Manager

Role purpose:

To be responsible for the design, delivery and global roll-out of brand positioning for

Corporate portfolio brands

Marketing & Communication platforms meant to bring to life the positioning above

Definition of multi-media strategy.

The position will report to the Marketing Director and will manage 1-2 Brand Managers.Responsabilities/activitiesThe Brand & Media Manager will have a leading role in this process as she/he will be in charge of:

Being the Brand Ambassador internally in the marketing community, externally with other functions, up to senior and executive levels of company leadership;

Strengthen -where and when needed- brand platform accordingly to strategic innovative direction and significant market changes;

Identify and validate customer insights together with Customer Insights Manager to develop Big Ideas and related communication toolkit;

Validate Ideas and transform them creatively into memorable and lead-generation oriented, integrated multi-media (traditional, digital accordingly with customer journeys) toolkit;

Qualify creative toolkit successfully in key markets around the world, in co-operation with Customer Insights Manager;

Ensure proper deployment of toolkits and launch plans with key global markets;

Define multi-media strategy and adjust creative development accordingly to reach and activate our prime prospect in the most effective and efficient way;

Roll-out key media and activation principles with Key markets to ensure the best execution of strategy and creative toolkit;

Define the best learning plan to measure in market creative execution and media effectiveness, with close collaboration and partnership with creative and media agencies;

Report creative and media performance within the broader organization (marketing, multi-functionally, leadership/ executive teams).

Main Accountabilitie

Finalization of EMEA MarComms platform and leverage and design for years to come;

Design of budget needs for 3 Years plan 2018-2020 for brand & media perspective;

Key Point of Contact with Media and Creative global agencies;Definition of a tracking platform for creative and media efforts;

Co-operation with countries to define brand & media sufficiency to reach targets;

Be the focal point for the organization for Company Brand evolution

The ideal candidate should come from Companies where:

brand-building plays a central and pivotal role historically (FMCG/ top level consumer electronics) or through recent transformational initiatives (services/ banking etc)

brand importance is concretely proven by budget size and complex multi-touchpoint creative projects, iterated across time.

Education & Experience Required

University degree required (B&A, marketing, communication, management engineering);

Significant experience in Brand design and brand-building projects, both on a creative and media sides (7-10 years) in companies (agency experience is not required and not needed);

Experience in international, multicultural and multifunctional environments;

Experience at country and corporate level;

Experience and proven contribution to significant cultural transformation

General & Technical Skills

Customer-driven thinking;

Marketing & Communication;

Extremely familiar with brand KPIs and brand-building processes;

Project and Program Management;

Agile working;

English (very fluent); second language is a preference, but not a must.

Managerial Skills And Personal Characteristics

Proactivity and curiosity are a must. Self-starter, energetic and willing to leave a legacy;

Anticipate gaps, with a bias for action.Does not come with problems, but possible solutions;

Proven technical skills combined with a strong vision and passion for business. Not data for data sake, but clear bias for insights actionability.

Strong presentation and meetings management skills

Able to cope with diverse environment (different cultures; level of capabilities etc)

Leadership blended with focus on results, influencing and agility

Mobile and open to travel (30% of time)

Must have proved communication and team building skills.
