Corporate Product Marketing Manager - Consumer & Retail

Our Client is a leading Multinational Consumer Company with a worldwide presence.

On its behalf, we are looking for the Corporate Product Marketing Manager

Role Purpose:

To be responsible for the launch, management and performance of the retailer brand products.

Will be responsible as well of generating marketing and communication insights to co-design strategy and toolkits for other core and no core products together with Brand & Media Manager. 

The Position will report to the Marketing Director. 

Focus areas are:

Starting from customer insights, design of marketing strategy for the Company and 3rd party products;

Develop a category vision (form/ technological features) starting from manufacturers insights and the co-working with Customer insights manager

Define product offering architecture

Lead consequently procurement department to negotiate with manufacturers the development of product hard features accordingly with insights

Own and develop key soft characteristics of product development to cover look & feel of the product (ergonomics, color etc.) and of packaging

Development and ownership of business case/ NPV of the project + implementation of a tracking methodology

Co-definition and delivery of Product Oriented MarCom toolkits on Company Retail Brand;

Program management of Company signed product line

Main Accountabilities

Launch of Company signed product line in 2018 in 2 countries, acting as Program Manager and as responsible for marketing and comms streams

Definition and implementation of extension to potentially all the rest of the World

Guide the needs for consumer insights and customer journeys related to product experience

Define marketing strategy and toolkit for key third party products

Be the focal point for the entire organization for Company product line

Education & Experience Required

University degree required (B&A, marketing, statistics, management engeneering)

Significant experience in Product marketing (5-10 years) both at strategic & operational level in a consumer driven company (FMCG/Consumer electronics/hearing aids)

Clear understanding of Marketing and Communication deliverables

Experience in international, multicultural and multifunctional environments

Experience at country and corporate level

Experience in big product launches

English (very fluent); second language is a preference, but not a must.

Able to cope with diverse environment (different cultures; level of capabilities etc)

Leadership blended with focus on results, influencing and agility

Mobile and open to travel

Must have proved communication and team building skills
