IT Senior Specialist – Infrastructure - Industrial

For a leading Italian industrial group undergoing significant growth and expansion through acquisitions, we are seeking an:

IT Senior Specialist – Infrastructure

The successful candidate will join the Corporate IT team, playing a cross-functional role across infrastructure, IT operations, and application support.

The position will contribute to both the day-to-day management of IT services and the ongoing evolution of the Group’s technology landscape.

This role involves continuous interaction with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technology partners within a complex environment characterized by heterogeneous systems, growing integration requirements, and an increasing focus on operational resilience, cybersecurity, and business continuity.

Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the individual will collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers across a range of activities, including:

  • infrastructure administration and systems support
  • application support and troubleshooting
  • first- and second-level IT support
  • monitoring and operational management of IT services
  • support for infrastructure projects and systems integration initiatives

Technical Requirements

Strong knowledge of:

  • Cybersecurity monitoring and protection platforms, including Sumo Logic, ESET, NinjaOne, and Darktrace
  • Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Windows 11)
  • IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, networking, backup solutions, and telephony systems
  • Integration of complex enterprise environments, including CRM, ERP, and Business Intelligence platforms

Good Knowledge of:

  • Computer hardware and network architectures
  • Network configuration and administration principles
  • Microsoft client and server operating systems architecture and configuration
  • Artificial Intelligence technologies and emerging applications
  • Regulatory and compliance frameworks, including NIS2, GDPR, and RENTRI
  • Project management principles, including cost and budget management

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or Technical Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT support environments
  • Experience operating within complex and integrated IT ecosystems is considered a plus
