Group Corporate Treasury Manager

Job description

Our Client is a leading Multinational Retailer with a worldwide presence. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow

- Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions

- Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios

- Direct, monitor and trade investment portfolios

- Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies

- Ensure identification of foreign exchange exposures of all the all legal entities and ensure the management of hedges on currency risks

- Prepare the prospective income statements and balance sheets of the Group  and set financial planning in the medium and long term including cashflow forecasts

- Manage subsidized financing for productive and research investments for the group and support initiatives of Real Estate

- Manage the decision-making process related to liquidity, financing and investment needs of the all legal entities of the Group

- Ensure the activities of bank accounting and manage the relationships with banks

Working Relationships:

The Corporate Treasury Manager  reports to the Chief Financial Officer and manages a team of 5 people   

Qualifications &Technical Competencies:

- Master’s Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting

- Experience in treasury functions at Group level with global or regional (Emea or Europe) responsibility

- Specific skills in corporate cash pooling, financial planning, treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and risk management

- Minimum 10 years of experience within a treasury, finance, or accounting group

Personal Skills:

Must be detailed oriented and capable of working independently under pressure with tight deadlines

Must be a self-starter with strong prioritization and organization skills, and able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

Able to provide thought leadership in evaluating current processes and recommending best practices

Creative problem solving ability with initiative to propose solutions

Team player with the ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships; able to work at all levels of the organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
