General Manager Italy - Medical Devices

Job description

A niche and  innovative European company in the field of Medical Devices  is looking for its General Manager to settle the products of the company  as a local key player in Italy and to win market share, while finely monitoring the turnover and EBIT implications.  

The Country Manager will receive full support from HQ in order to lead the domestic market.

Scope of the position

Leading the development of business in Italy he/she will be in charge of sales of company products  to achieve the set revenue target of the Italy Country

Responsible of P/L of the Country Plan

Direct and develop sales strategies to effectively sell company products through his sales team

Identify and implement business development opportunities in line with marketing business plans to achieve Company objectives and increase market share and revenues

Manage all departments on daily basis

Prepare Budget and sales forecast reporting to HQ 

Review financial and operation reports.

Manage and develop a light yet strong team composted of 8 people

Location:Milan – availability to travel 

Qualifications & Technical Competencies

Experience in managing a sales & marketing team in the medical and surgical devices.

Preferably good knowledge of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology Oftamology

Experience in managing a profit centre

Track record of consistent goals achievement

Fluent in English and Italian.

Entrepreneurship, start-up mind-set, business acumen and commercial awareness

Highly motivated and resourceful self-motivator, excellent analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills (commercial instincts and skills), with a track record of consistent goal achievements.
